Chicken Farcha

 Chicken Farcha is a delightful Parsi recipe. Traditionally, the chicken is deep fried. But we are are going for a healthier option . So we will bake the chicken instead.  Learn how to prepare Chicken farcha by following this easy recipe.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 8 pieces of chicken
  • 4 eggs - beaten
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  •  chopped fresh coriander- a handfull
Instructions
  1. Grind ginger and garlic to make a paste.
  2. Marinate the chicken in  salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and ginger garlic paste for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in a thick bottom pan, cover it with a lid and cook on low fire until it is tender. The chicken has moisture in it. So you donot have to add water to it.
  4. Dip chicken pieces in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat oven to 200 degrees  and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken turns crispy.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Your chicken  Farcha is ready.
