Dandruff Trouble?

Dandruff is a very common hair problem that effects people of all ages and ethinicity. It can be quite an embarassing one too. Although it might not be curable for every one, it is generally quite easily controlled with proper skin and hair hygiene. Here are a few home remedies that will help control your dandruff.
Fenugreek  paste is very effective in controlling dandruff.  It may be applied on the scalp for an hour before washing hair to reduce dandruff problem. You can also soak fenugreek seeds  in yogurt  overnight and can apply this yoghurt on your scalp for an hour before showering.

Lemon juice can also be applied on the scalp for about an hour before hair wash to deal with the problem of dandruff. You may also use a mixture of yoghurt and lemon juice.

Mix gram flour with curd and apply it on your scalp before bath. This is chemical free and will compensate for your anti-dandruff shampoo.

Gosseberry (amla) paste when applied on the scalp for an hour reduces dandruff to a great extend.
A regular oil massage will reduce the dandruff in your scalp.
Washing your hair with hibiscus leaves is another remedy to control dandruff. You may also use shikakai (acacia concinna) along with it.

Paste of neem and Indian basil (tulsi) when applied on scalp is also effective in reducing  dandruff.

Massage your scalp with a mix of a spoon lemon juice and two spoon vinegar. Wash your hair a shampoo containing egg to get relief from dandruff.

A mix of tea tree oil with alovera gel is also helpful in reducing  the problem of dandruff.

To get dandruff under control, wet your hair and then rub a handful of baking soda vigorously into your scalp. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do this every time you normally wash your hair, but only use baking soda, no shampoo. Your hair may get dried out at first. But after a few weeks your scalp will start producing natural oils, leaving your hair softer and free of flakes.

Last but not the least, drink lots of water.
