I had gained 6kgs of vaction weight and was looking for an indian diet program to shed it quick when I came across this General Motors Diet Program. There were positive feedbacks about it, so I decided to give it a try. I made slight variations in the diet, did not work out the entire time and was able to lose 4kgs a week. And the best part is that you can keep eating as long as you are not full.

Day1:All fruits. All kinds of fruit may be consumed except for bananas. 10-12 glasses of water should be consumed throughout the day. This was the most difficult day. Though I kept having fruits throughout the day, i felt weak and had slight headache. Donot give up if you face this problem as it is a part of detoxification. I didnot sleep well on day 1.
Day2: All vegetables. All sorts of vegetables may be consumed during the second day. Potatoes may be served during breakfast to boost energy levels. A mixture of greens and boiled vegetables as well as the GM diet wonder soup may be served during lunch and dinner.The second day was a lot better ght not be so forcompared to the first one. But I donot mind eating vegetables. It might be a little difficult for some of you.
Day3: Mixture of fruits and vegetables. A mix of fruits and vegetables may be consumed on Day 3, together with 10-12 glasses of water. Bananas are still not allowed in this day. By this day most of you will get used to the diet. And you will no longer feel hungry.
Day4: Banana and milk. Skim milk and banana, together with the GM wonder soup or any type of vegetable soup may be served on this day. For Indian practitioners, yogurt may be served instead of skim milk. You can have as much as 8 bananas and 5 glasses of milk but most of you will not be able to have this amount.All the pottassium and calcium that you had lost in the past few days will be restored in your body.

Day6: Brown rice and vegetables. On Day 6, brown rice or chicken grill (you may also have smoked fish ) will be matched with vegetables, but potatoes are still restricted. It is best to consume cottage cheese and soybean curd in vegetable bowls.
Day7: Brown rice, vegetables and fruits. Two cups of brown rice may be consumed together with unlimited servings of vegetables and fruits. Fruit juice may also be taken along with 8-10 glasses of water.
Day 6 and 7 will be very easy. The weight you lose will depend on your current body weight and life style. I didnot workout during these 7 days. But you may do it as long as you dont feel weak.

i am on the fifth day of the diet and i have already lost 5kgs. the first two days were hard. but i am happy with the results and my cravings for food have reduced
