TREAT YOUR ACNE AT HOME

Acne is a common skin condition that affects most people at some point during their life. Contrary to the common belief, acne is not restricted to teenagers but affects people of all ages.

Mix the juice from one lemon and one beaten egg white. Leave the  mask on for thirty minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Keep the mask away from your eyes and mouth.
Oily skin is highly prone to pimples. Wild turmeric powder is highly effective in treating acne resulting from oily skin. Make a mask using turmeric powder, crushed neem (margosa) leaves and honey. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes.  Wash this mask off using gram (chickpea) flour.

Oatmeal is naturally soothing, and this simple oatmeal mask can also help clear acne. Mix together 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and some yoghurt to form a paste. Apply the paste all over your face and gently rub it in. Rinse thoroughly after 30 minutes.

Make a paste using sandal wood powder, lemon and honey. Use it as a mask and wash off after 30 minutes. This helps in reducing pimples to a great extend.

A mixture of raw papaya juice and 2 tablespoons of oats may be applied to treat pimples and give your skin a natural glow.

Mint has a cooling effect on the skin. Simply applying freshly extracted mint juice and leaving it over night gives fast results. You may also use the juice from fenugreek leaves.

Make a mask with grated apple and honey. Leave it on for 25 minutes. It serves as an effective home remedy for pimples.

Mix crushed nutmeg and milk to form a paste. Leave the mask on for an hour or two. This mask not only cures acne but also the marks associated with it.

A balanced diet  rich in vitamin A and zinc is highly recommended to get rid of acne and maintain a fresh, glowing skin.
