Lose The Flab And Retain Your Curves

For most women, areas of the thigh are a major source of fat accumulation, resulting in a body shaped like a pear, wherein the upper half appears leaner than the lower half because of wide and bulky thighs. But a problem that a lot of women experience is that when they go on a diet and lose some weight, they lose their curves as well. For those of you who wish to tone your body and retain the curves, here are a few tips.

Weight training exercise helps you tone the muscles of your calves, thighs and buttocks. Perform three sets of lunges and squats (15-20 reps) three times a week. Use weights for better results. This will help you trim down at the right places and give you a sexier butt. Also do 3 sets of bench presses and push-ups (10-15 reps), 2-3 times a week. This will keep your breasts round and firm. Cardio train on the days that you don't lift weights.

Reduce you daily calorie intake but include essential fatty acids and a lot of protein in you diet. This will ensure that you burn only fat and leave your muscles intact.

Drink a lot of water and eat foods with a lot of fibre. This will help you lose your belly fat. A smaller waste line will make your hips look bigger .
Remember, it is not about reducing your weight but reducing your size. When you increase the muscles in your body and remove only fat, you might actually increase in weight even if you reduce ize. This is because  muscle is heavier than fat. So always aim at lowering your size. Don't bother about your weight.
