For most women, areas of the thigh are a major source of fat accumulation, resulting in a body shaped like a pear, wherein the upper half appears leaner than the lower half because of wide and bulky thighs. But a problem that a lot of women experience is that when they go on a diet and lose some weight, they lose their curves as well. For those of you who wish to tone your body and retain the curves, here are a few tips.
Weight training exercise helps you tone the muscles of your calves, thighs and buttocks. Perform three sets of lunges and squats (15-20 reps) three times a week. Use weights for better results. This will help you trim down at the right places and give you a sexier butt. Also do 3 sets of bench presses and push-ups (10-15 reps), 2-3 times a week. This will keep your breasts round and firm. Cardio train on the days that you don't lift weights.
Reduce you daily calorie intake but include essential fatty acids and a lot of protein in you diet. This will ensure that you burn only fat and leave your muscles intact.
Drink a lot of water and eat foods with a lot of fibre. This will help you lose your belly fat. A smaller waste line will make your hips look bigger .
