Say Goodbye To Your Scars

Removing a scar completely using natural methods would depend upon the age, size and severity of the scar. If your burns were superficial, it may be possible to fade your scars to the extent that they cannot be seen unless looked at closely. However, remember to let at least a month pass after your burns have healed completely before you begin trying any remedy

. One of the best ways to lighten your scar is to use lime juice on it. Wash the area thoroughly with water, rub lime juice over the scar and leave it for 10 minutes. Avoid using soap, as this may darken your skin. Wash with plain water. Should you use this remedy, avoid going out in the sun without sunscreen, as it will make your skin more prone to tanning.

Crush a whole onion and apply the fresh juice to your scar. This procedure may actually take months to show results, but it will work very effectively towards lightening your scars.

Another effective solution to fade away scars is rubbing aloe vera gel on them. You can also apply cucumber or raw potato juice, as both will help to lighten your scars considerably.

A paste of sandalwood and rose water can be used to exfoliate your skin. This will help in levelling your scars to some extent.

Lacto calamin is found to be very effective in treating scars. However, if your scar is too deep, go see a dermatologist.
